Project 1 Moores Hill Summer Festival Scenario
Scenario: The town of Moores Hill, Indiana, is planning a festival in August which will include a parade of at least one hundred entries. The Moores Hill Marshal, Brent Casebolt, has asked you to prepare a parade route security plan which will include a volunteer at each intersection of the parade route to keep others from breaking through during the parade. There have been no threats and all previous events in this area have had no security issues.

- Parade Timetable and participants:
The parade will begin at the Moores Hill firehouse at 11:00 am on a Saturday morning. The entries will gather at the firehouse beginning at 9:00 am. They will be staged and given a number by the parade marshal. At 10:00 am, all streets along the parade route will be blocked so that there will be a clear route for the parade. As the parade route turns west on Main Street, there will be an announcer, who will read from a card that coordinates with the number on the vehicle, with information about the entry. At the end of the parade route, a volunteer will have Main Street blocked off so that entries may exit. Entries may then park in the fields or parking lot near the school to return by foot to the festival, located in the city park and connected with the lawn at Carnegie Hall. So far five high school marching bands, two large semi tractor-trailers, all of the Moores Hill fire equipment and life squad equipment, and several antique vehicles have been signed up to take part.
