The Sonic Blast music group produces and distributes music for several major artistes. Sonic's strategy is to use several methods to distribute their music. The company currently utilises three major channels to sell their music: on the internet, in stores, and at their own unique retail distribution outlets. The company also ensures that their music gets to several major radio and television stations. The company also uses other sources of promotions, which they term "Pro-Mo" which seem to be a very effective means of advertising for them.

• Sonic groups their artistes into five categories: A, B, C, D and E. This categorization is based on their past sales and the artiste's current fan base. Each year the company allocates $120,000,000 to spend on promoting their artistes. This money is spread evenly across the months.

The Sonic Blast music group decided to host a promotional event designed to highlight their artistes, create a platform to launch their new music and new artistes. This event must in the future become a signature event of the company and must become synonymous with their prestigious worldwide image.

Sonic Blast decided to use twenty-five percent of their annual advertising budget to put on this event.
