Project xyz didn’t go according to plan. The triple constraints (time, cost and performance) were not met , jeopardising the project’s intended outcome. After tense and heated session stakeholders identified cost estimation and poor project control as the major problems. As the project manager, you are tasked to:

 1) identify the enemies of “cost estimating” and budgeting.

 2) If you were starting from scratch, how would you use the project cost accounting system (pcas) to keep the project under control?
