Purpose

The purpose of this assignment is to apply the project evaluation and selection process to select a project for the group project.

Background

Projects serve to implement change, satisfy stakeholder requests, meet new legal requirements, and$/$or create new or improved products$/$services$.$ However, not every new project concept will be selected for initiation and further implementation. Every project concept should be evaluated for its value to potential stakeholders and the organization. These evaluations could be based strictly on financial criteria, but most projects are evaluated using a combination of financial and nonfinancial criteria.
