Q1. Consider the following Robot with one wheel, and three IR sensors (left L, right R and Front F), as shown in Fig.1. Will
the robot move (forward, backward, or will not move), if the robot is controlled by NN that uses all the sensors and all the
motors? Consider the following function for the motor output?
rig.1. Une-wneel rodot.
I IIe vutput runction
1- Consider a Network structure of [3:1].
2- Weights (including default weights) for all the structure are 0.8.
3- Use Step Function with a threshold of 0.3. i.e., if the function output is larger than 0.3. consider it 1, otherwise
4- Hint: if the robot wheel received a value of 1, then the robot moves forward. (0 no-move), and (-1 moves
backward).
1- Skitch the network structure, while showing the variables Front (F), Left (L), Right (R), and Motor (M), in the
network. In addition, show the connections and the weights in the structure.
2- Calculate "M" based on the above values, while considering (F=0,L=0 and R=0). Show the steps. Based on your
calculation, will the robot move (forward, backward, or no-move)?
