1. Mr. Anwar purchased some goods from ABC store. Having no cash, he presented a cheque of Rs. 11000, of his current account of Meezan Islamic bank (MIB), to pay the price of goods. Manager of ABC store accepted the cheque and visited MIB. Cheque was honored and manager of ABC got his money Rs.11000.
2. Mr. Akbar had to owe Rs. 500,000 to Mr. Asad. He wrote a cheque of Rs. 500,000, of his saving account of Al-Barakah Islamic bank (AIB), in favor of Mr. Asad. He visited AIB and presented the cheque that was honored and he was paid the written amount.
3. Mr. Noman has a current account in Meezan Islamic bank (MIB). He requested MIB to transfer Rs. 200,000 from his current account to the account of Mr. Kareem who has a saving account in Bank al-Islami. MIB transferred the said amount as per its depositors instruction.
