QUESTION 1 (12 MARKS) Sugar Rush Enterprise is owned by Miss Manisnya commenced the business on 1 January 2015. The business main activities are selling cakes and pastries for any occasion and party. The business closes its account on 31 December every year. At the beginning of the operation, Miss Manisnya who has a little education background in accounting, decided to keep the accounting record herself as the company still cannot afford to hire an accountant After several years of operation, Miss Manisnya noticed that the business had problem with the recording. Therefore, she decided to see an account consultant to advise her on the accounting record. Based on the conversation with Miss Manisnya, the account consultant founds that Miss Manisnya recorded her personal expenses such as travelling and utilities bill in the business account. She also admits that she did not understand how to identify which expenses belong to the business and personal. The account consultant also noticed that Miss Manisnya treated the small value of asset such as pen, pencils and stapler as non-current asset in the Statement of Financial Position a. Based on the above situation, decide the accounting principles which have been violated by Miss Manisnya. All answer must be supported with an explanation. (8 marks) b.
