She knows that being late will not get her fired, but at the same time it means that she will no longer be eligible for the perfect attendance allowance, which she needs to cover her daughter's hospital bills. Maryam believes that she is making an effort to come on time and that she does not deserve what happened. Maryam's friend "Sarah" works as a System Administrator at the same department, so Maryam used Sarah's PC while she was away, to edit her timestamp of her attendance today, thinking that she was not punching on time was because of her manager and editing the timestamp will not harm anyone. 1.
