QUESTION ONE Mikki House has been operating as a Japanese restaurant in New Zealand for some time. There are four restaurants spread around the main cities of New Zealand. Mikki House is a distinctive style of restaurant which specialises in seafood sushi and is decorated with scenes of the ocean. The customers' names are painted in Japanese characters on rice paper and customers use this paper as place mats. Customers are welcome to take the place mats home. The restaurant has proved to be very popular. A few months ago a new restaurant opened in Auckland called Nikki House. It has a very similar style to the Mikki House restaurants and sells only seafood sushi. It also paints customers' names on place mats and is decorated with ocean scenes.
