Radnor Township and Upper Darby Township are planning to collaborate to build an aqueduct to bring water in from the upper part of the state. There are two options to conduct this construction. It can be built at a reduced size for now for $300 million and be enlarged in 20 years for an additional $340 million. Another alternative is to construct the full-sized aqueduct now for $450 million. Both alternatives would provide the needed capacity of the 55-year analysis period.
