Since $1919,$ the International Labour Organization $($ILO$)$ is working to ensure labour justice through promoting tripartite

agreement among its member states as a means of giving voice to all parties. The basic premise of tripartite labour

relations is that all the parties$$ employers, employees and state, have equal status and have an important role to play as

social partners for sustained progress in the society. A further development is gaining recognition in situations where the

established tripartite partners choose to open up the dialogue and engage with other civil society groups, to gain a wider

view and agreement on issues beyond the world of work. There is also interplay between labour relations and the dynamics

related to customer satisfaction and internal and local competition. From a somewhat different point of view Scholars add

two more role$-$players and argue that employment relationship is pentagonal in nature, as opposed to the traditional

tripartite, to include competitors and customers.
