Real World Challenge (RWC) Proposal-Due Sunday night of Week 1

Each student will share a real-world challenge case. The challenge case proposal is due by Sunday of the first week. The one-pageproposal template is provided here:Real-world challenge proposal template. You can also find samples from previous students here: sample 1, sample 2, sample 3, sample 4, sample 5. If you have any questions about proposing the case about the challenges you see at your workplace, you can schedule a meeting with the instructor through Zoom to discuss it.

RWC Discussion (practice case week 2, students' cases weeks 3-7)

The class will be divided into 5-people teams. We will discuss the five students' five cases during weeks 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, in more detail and brainstorm suggestions and recommendations/providing consulting services.

Case Leader

Your instructor will assign your case to week 3-7. When it is your case to discuss for the week, youare the facilitator for the week. You are the client and your group members are the consultants. As the client and facilitator of the conversation, you do not have to post an initial post in response to your own RWC. Your group members do have to post an initial post. After posting your RWC, answer the clarifying questions from group peers (Monday/Tuesday**). You might find your answers are longer because they asked you thought-provoking questions. This is good because it opens up everyone's thinking. Then, your peers post their initial posts in response to your RWC, every team member including you provide responses to the initial posts (at least two responses). The goal is to start building on ideas. They will have offered ideas based on OB theories, and you will, most likely, find yourself building off of their ideas. This is good! I look for critical and creative thinking.
