Reflect: Throughout the weeks at field placement in toddler room, Early child education students are to examine the six standards of practice and reflect on how the element of practice is being demonstrated. Early child education students are to document their reflections on how the element of practice has been demonstrated. Provide specific examples of how you have demonstrated each standard.

Consider the following:

Provide specific examples of how you have demonstrated professional practice consistently.

How have you integrated strategies to protect children's physical and emotional health and safety?

What positive, responsive relationships with children, co-workers, supervisors, and families did you develop?

What play-based learning opportunities that are based on documented observations of

children's interests and development did you contribute? How did you support inclusive practices?

What appropriate positive guidance strategies did you integrate? For each standard (about infant and toddler) How are you applying caring and responsive relationships in your daily practice? How do you collaborate with others to maintain caring and responsive relationships? \ Indicate your demonstration of practice. How is this standard demonstrated? Provide specific examples and details in your reflections. and wahat is your 3 goals for each standard?

Each of the six Standards of Practice has three elements:

Principle- serves as an important summary of each standard and offers key highlights of the knowledge and practice sections from each standard.

Knowledge-identifies the knowledge related to each standard that RECES must have in order to practice the profession

Practice the skills, actions and behaviors related to each standard that RECES must demonstrate in order to practice the profession
