Another challenge with milk is, the dump of milk is difficult and expensive due to its high BOD and contamination natures if exposed during disposition. Luckily, the demand of milk is less volatile. The underage cost is the cost of missed demand fulfillment and lost sales. The overage cost is the the cost of wasted product cost, freight cost, handling cost and dump cost
