CEO, I can only begin to understand the difficult decision you face with recommending the best course of action in this dilemma, as so many will come to you for resolution given your CEO position. As plant manager, I strive to find efficient and effective solutions to each issue that may arise while keeping my employees in mind for any downstream impacts my decision may cause. Today, although the citizen environmental group has voiced their concerns and conducted an independent study, the results still need to be conclusive. Unfortunately, This issue will not go away overnight. Remaining at this location will not solve the problem or prevent further complaints if our reputation is smeared in the news for not taking action. Ms. Hernandez, I implore you to consider a temporary move overseas while upgrading our filtration system. The plant could slowly transition while keeping our current plant open until we are fully up and running overseas. Once the overseas plant is fully functional, we can shut down operations locally and begin replacing the filtering systems. Once complete, we will return to business as usual here in Ashton and invite all previous employees back
