ANSWER: A Box Plot gives five number theory of the distribution of the data: Minimum, First Quartile, Median , Third Quartile and maximum. The central 50% of the distribution is shown with the help of Box and the minimum is joined with the lower quartile by a line as well as maximum is joined by a line to the upper quartile. One can get the idea of concentration of data points with the help of Box plot in visual form.
