Respond: Has profit-seeking gun industry has enjoyed enormous exemptions from liability and accountability in court since President Bush signed the federal Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act ("PLCAA") into law in 2005. I take manufacture and gun stores really anyone that sell guns should have some what a protection to who they are selling and the responsibility to check who they are selling it. It should not be like walking into a candy store. I have nothing against them I have family member that own however, there should be some time of steps, regulations, rules etc. to the gun seller. So, for my opinion gun sellers should also be taken in accountability if they do not do a background check before selling a firearm. If they take all the steps they need to take before selling a gun, then maybe they should have immunity. If seller took all the step to ensure that the firearm does get in the wrong hands well there not much they can do if something happens. But if they don't take the steps to do background check do some type of training, they might be selling It to someone that is not mentally okay and can do something awful
