Review Mark 12:30-31. The idea of self-awareness is so important in the counseling field, but the question is how can one be aware? Without a healthy self-awareness it will be difficult to be able to discern what a client needs. With this in mind, share one area from your life that would be good to have counseling help. Provide background information, what has been difficult to change, and where you would like to be in your self-awareness. If nothing stands out now, choose something in your past.
