revise this paragraph: Looking at previous billing statements, we had an additional "estimated water usage" bill for the service period of 4/1/2023-6/30/2023. This bill estimated that we used 12,717 gallons of water. Unlike the estimated bills from above, this estimated bill usage number was taken from a water bill 2 quarters before that billing quarter. The water usage for 1/1/2023-3/31/2023 was 11,969 gallons. This number is not significantly smaller than 12,717 gallons, but why wasn't the estimate for the 4/1/2023 bill just taken from the 1/1/2023 quarterly bill? We also have no idea if we overpaid this bill or not because there was absolutely no mention of an actual read after this estimate, and no one seems to be concerned that we might have overpaid this bill. How does anyone know we actually used 12,717 gallons again. How do you go from using 12,717 gallons again, to using an actual read of 7,481 the following quarter? Thats about a $100 difference in billing. The minute that you underpay, you are not to question the bill. But what happens when you overpay?
