Rogue posing as a Mr. King, a member of parliament, arranges by telephone with Natasha to view her BMW car, which she advertised for sale. Rogue goes to Natasha's house the following day and having examined the car and taken it for a test drive agrees to buy it for Ksh. 2,000,000. Rogue tells Natasha he will pay for the car with Ksh. 100,000 cash and the balance by cheque. He shows a parliamentary entry pass to Natasha in the name of 'John Kin'. Natasha has a quick look on the photograph on John King's website. Natasha agrees to accept the cheque and let's Rogue leave with the car and its registration document. Later that day Natasha presents the cheque to her bank. The bank informs her that the cheque is a forgery, worth nothing.
