Sally (from Module 2) feels that each of her 24 candles needs to meet every month the minimum sales
target based on the candle type (i.e. jar, votive, and tea light candles) as listed in the table below:
Sally wants to know if each candle is meeting the sales target every month. In her mind, a candle is
underperforming if any of its monthly sales is below the sales target. Currently, she feels that it is a
concern if 10 or more of the 24 candles are underperforming. However, she might change her mind in
terms of how many candles are underperforming to be a concern for her.
She is seeking your help to build an Excel spreadsheet to help her determine if she should be concerned
with her candle operations.
Suggestions:
Identify which candle is underperforming (i.e. one or more monthly sales below the sales target)
In cells Q2 to Q25, set up a formula to determine if a candle is underperforming based on its candle
type. If it is underperforming, the formula should return "Yes"; and if it is not underperforming, the
formula should return "No".
Determine if Sally should be concerned with her candle operations
In cell U7, set up a formula to determine if 10 or more of the candles are underperforming. If that is
the case, the formula return "Yes"; and if it is not, the formula should return "No".
Questions:

10 or more of the candles underperforming?
