You may not work together on this assignment. I recognize that people may select the same case, but I should be able to clearly distinguish your work from others.

You will start by providing a link to the Court decision from the highest court deciding this case. Many of these cases were decided by the United States Supreme Court, so that will be relatively straightforward, but some will have been decided at lower levels of our Court systems, so youll need to figure that out. Providing the link to the courts decision will be worth 10 points.

Then you will prepare a report that answers the following questions. You will be scored mostly on the completeness of your responses, so each reports correct length will vary, but you can also face deductions for typographical and presentation errors (typos that lead to confusion in reading the response and sloppiness in presentation). I will expect more depth in areas for which more points are assigned.

4. Tell us what the Courts decision was in the case what its final conclusion was. Tell us if there were any concurring or dissenting opinions in the case and provide a short summary of what they said. (10 points)
5. Tell us if you think the Court made the right decision and why. (5 points)
6. Tell us why this case is important in our study of Business Law what concept does it cover, and how did it help you understand that concept. (20 points)
7. Provide a link to something that was written about this case, other than from a Business Law textbook. (10 points)

You may respond to the questions in a standalone fashion, or generate a narrative that includes the responses to the questions. As you can see, the assignment is worth 100 points.
