Scenario: William is a truck driver for a small trucking company in an unspecified country. A recent natural disaster has left the people in a particular region of the country stranded and in need of supplies. Today is William's day off. He is already dressed to attend his nephew$$s wedding. So$,$ obviously, the phone call he received is not the call he was expecting. In addition, he has been watching the news about the natural disaster. He is aware that delivering supplies to the devastated region will require him to drive on bridges that were weakened by the natural disaster and that may potentially collapse. He is also aware that, if the people don$$t receive any supplies in the immediate future, all of the communities in the impacted region will experience significant illness, suffering, and$/$or death. So$,$ William must choose between attending his nephew's wedding or delivering the supplies to the devastated region. There are multiple cultural values that would DECREASE the likelihood that William decides to deliver the supplies to the region in need.
