Identify at least two staff who are struggling with interacting with diverse people within the workplace.

• Thelanguage barrierbetween John and Sandy and the diverse people they interact with at work is one of the main diversity issues faced by them
• Both the staff are not familiar with thecustoms and traditionsof the diverse people they interact with at work.
• The diverse people they interact with at work come fromdifferent socio-economic backgrounds, which can make communication difficult

• For the language barrier:Training in language skills
• Unfamiliarity with customs and traditions:Training in cross-cultural sensitivity
• Different socio-economic backgrounds:Training in communication

• Training in language skills:This training involves learning how to better communicate with people from different cultures, as well as learning how to speak a second language if necessary
• Training in cross-cultural sensitivity:This training would focus on helping John and Sandy to understand the customs and traditions of the diverse people they interact with at work so that they can more easily communicate with them
• Training in communication:Communication training would focus on teaching John and Sandy how to effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds, taking into account cultural differences

Each training is 6 months long, starting from 1st November:

• Training in language skills: Strats from 01.11.22
• Training in cross-cultural sensitivity: 01.05.23
• Training in communication: 01.11.23

The expected outcome of this training is that the staff will be better equipped to deal with the diversity issue in the organization. They will have improved language skills, which will help them communicate better with people from different cultures. Additionally, they will be more sensitive to cross-cultural differences, and this will help them avoid making any offensive or hurtful comments.
