Select a song that demonstrates two themes of adolescence or young adulthood. Examples of themes may include, but are not limited to: physical development/change, self-consciousness, risk taking (sex, drugs, driving), myth of invincibility, importance of peer group relationships, struggle with parents/authority, search or struggle for identity, search for intimacy, emerging adulthood. Look at the topics in the text for themes. Include the following in your PowerPoint presentation (minimum of 10 slides):

• introductory slide with name and topic
• audio/video clip of the song with the specific lyrics you will be using
• lyrics of the relevant section in the song
• two specific themes that you identified
• at least two pictures which relate to themes
• explanation of how the song/theme relate to your life or those you know
