Section C - Performance Activity Task 1 (Written)

SCENARIO:

Dave has been on time every day since we hired him in 2020. He is always punctual, never misses a meeting, and actively participates in all discussions. He is truly the life of the office, as he is always the one to share feedback or get us thinking when silence falls during a meeting. Despite the fact that he is always on time, I've noticed that he has been extending his lunch breaks without explanation. This can give trouble to other employees as they are also waiting to get their lunch break, or they would need help during the busy hours.

TASK:

1. Over the course of one week, use a range of methods to monitor Dave's performance levels. 2. Specifically, you should assess his 7 performance areas: a) Adherence to your organisation's policies and procedures b )Interaction with colleagues and customers c )Attention to accuracy of work d) Personal presentation e) Punctuality f) Productivity g) Waste and energy minimisation. 3. Remember to assess the 7 performance areas highlight the outstanding achievement areas and some areas to be improved with time frame. 4.
