1. Yale has many Dorms on Campus. Each Dorm has a Dorm Code, that is unique, as well as a dorm Name and dorm Location that is not unique. Dorms have Rooms. Each room has a Room Number that are unique within a Dorm but may not be unique between Dorms. Rooms also have a room Status and a room Size. All Rooms must exist within a Dorm. Students are also at Yale. A student has a unique Student Id. Students also have a Name and a PO Box. A student may or may not live in a dorm room. A dorm room may have more than one student living in it or there may be no one living in a dorm room.
2. In the state of Connecticut there are many High Schools. Each high school is identified by a high school Name and has and Address, Phone number, Mascot, and Track Team. The track team is composed of students. Each student has a Student Id and Name. Students must be on a school team and can only be on one school team. One of the students is selected as the team Captain and leads the other team members. The track team competes in Track Meets across the state. The track meet is sponsored by one of the high schools and has a unique Meet Id as well as a Meet Date and Start Time. The meet consists of several events. Each event has a Name, and Description. Students from the different teams will compete in the different events. A student must compete in at least one event but may compete in many events. Some events do not have students competing in them. When a student competes in an event, their event Time, Distance, Place, and Points Earned is recorded.
