Sodium borohydride is a potential fuel for fuel cell. The data in the Table below were obtained in a study conducted to evaluate the electrochemical kinetics of sodium borohydride. At the conditions of the study, it is known that the relationship that exists between the overpotential () and current (i) can be expressed as:
=a+blog(i)
where a and b are electrochemical kinetics parameters of borohydride on the electrode, is in volts (V) and i is in mA. Using the least squares method and the data in the Table, evaluate the values of a and b.
Note: log(i)=log10(i)i.e. base 10?
