Explain and present an example of how statistics are used in theaccounting area. You can use the Virtual Library databases to get information on this matter.

Part II -Population

1) We define population as the complete set of all individuals, things or events that you want to investigate with respect to a particular situation. The sample is defined as a subset of the population. Based on the concepts of population and sample; and from what was studied in the first module, establish a population and a sample that are related to the theme of the November 2020 elections. An example related to NUC students is presented below so that you are clear about what you are going to do in this exercise.
