Solve these questions of set with proper expalantion.

Section\#2: The Photocopy Center (13 marks) The photocopy center located in the main building of the IIM Indore campus provides photocopy services to students on demand. The process flow chart of the photocopy services for processing the photocopy requests (PRs) is shown below: Assume that the photocopy center receives the requests at a steady rate of 3 PRs per minute, with an average of one PR per student. The average number of PRs in the process (including waiting and being serviced) at each step is: placing the PR -9 , processing the PR57, collection and verification of photocopies -6 and payment for the PR -3 . Because of the perceived long wait in step-2, 60 percent of the students decide to come back after 1 hour (on an average) and then join the step-3. If the students choose to stay at the photocopy center till completion of their requests, each name is called as soon as the PR is processed in step2 , and the student then joins the step-3. Assume that the system is operating at a steady state, i.e., the input rate is equal to the output rate. Analyze the operations of the photocopy center and answer the following questions: Question-1: (3 marks) If a student decides to wait at the photocopy center till fulfilment of his/her PR, then the average time spent by him/her in the photocopy center is equal to 1500 seconds. Question-2: (3 marks) After placing the PR in step- 1 , if a student decides to skip the step- 2 and joins the step- 3 one hour later, the average time spent by him/her in the photocopy center is equal to seconds. Question-3: (3 marks) Considering all the PRs, the average time that each student spends in the photocopy center is equal to seconds. Question-4: (4 marks) Considering all the PRs, the average time spent by one PR completing all the steps in the photocopy center is equal to seconds.
