Some of the skills a person will need to lead change in an organization include: communication skills, interpersonal skills, motivation, ability to adapt to change, analyze, vision, and big goal. When someone is leading change in an organization it is important to effectively communication with the other members about what changes will take place and how the changes will improve to the organization.This will help increase productivity as everyone will know what is expected of them. Interpersonal skills is also an important skill because the leader will need to be patience, work in a team, and be dependable. As a leader, motivation will is key. You can not expect a good result if no one is motivated. The ability to adapt to change quickly is major. You will be leading other on how to do things differently. You will also need to be able to solve problems. Analyzing data, procedures, and tasks is important in leading change. Being able to analyze procedures will help the leader tell other members what is needed of them. The leader will need to discuss the vision and what the big goal is for the organization.

An organization's structure can help accommodate change in many ways. One being analyzing. Already having a person who can analyze the date will help when the change takes place. This will prevent having to train someone to read data. The whole management team will need to be open to change. If the management team is not open to change then the other member will not be open to change. If the manager is not open to change or have to skills to lead the change needed, then a new manager needs to be brought in to lead to change.
