• Student athletes at a university are required to maintain a certain GPA to be eligible to participate in their sport. It may be reasonable to assume that this requirement means student athletes maintain a higher GPA than students that are not athletes. Note that we are defining a student athlete as someone on a colligate team.
• Our participants will include 100 ELC students, 50 student athletes, 50 non-athletes.
• Using the above research question do the following:

1. 1. Make a research question.
   2. Make working and null hypotheses.
   3. Build the methods for experiment.
      1. The methods need to be clearly detailed steps for how the experiment will be conducted.
      2. You'll be recording GPA and whether or not the participant is on a ELC athletic team. Identify procedures for collecting both sets of information with the highest accuracy.

   4. Identify any materials needed to conduct the experiment.
