In this group project, your team will create a business plan for a product or service. Assuming you have an initial budget of $25,000, you will develop an idea for a new business. You will draft a business plan and deliver a presentation describing your new business. This project is assigned in week 9 of the course and the group presentation and marketing plan is due in Week 15 of the course. The assignment is worth 25% of your final grade. Your final presentation will be worth 10% of the final grade. Your final report will be worth 15% of the final grade. Other Consideration: A business plan is a professional document that might be shared with your bank or potential funders. This means the deliverables should be professional, specifically: - No grammatical errors, spelling errors or typos - Images, music and/or infographics used are CC licensed and sources are provided - Materials are interesting and speak to audience - Conforms to the style conventions detailed above - Use of Course Material and external sources - Draws extensively from course material - Uses external academic or reputable media/professional sources Deliverables: This project has 6 deliverables. Each group will submit a short report presenting a first draft of the Industry, market, and competitive analysis section of their business plan.
