Submit a Word document that states:

  • A 1 line summary/project description
  • A more detailed description of what your project consists of. At this point be as descriptive as you can and include as much detail as you are aware of at this point.

Incomplete, vague project requests will be declined. Projects that are considered too simple will also be declined. You must receive permission to continue on your project. This will be indicated to you within a day or two of the proposal deadline.

In some cases if your project is too large I will ask you to "slim" down the project to fit within the semester timeline.

I will expect at least a page for your project proposal, so if you need to include diagrams please do so. If I do not understand the proposal it will be declined.

Consider this proposal (and everything you do in this class) to be professional grade as if you were communicating to your supervisor at a job position. The project and the class will be graded accordingly.
