Summarize some of the shortcomings of eyewitness memory and why these could be a problem within our criminal justice system. Then.... Explain some things that might be done (or have been done) to improve eyewitness memory or to avoid the shortcomings of eyewitness memory. Try to think of examples from your own life (or the news) in which eyewitness memory issues have led to a mistake or problem for you or others (need not be a "serious" problem). These things can happen during everyday events, it does not have to be a legal/court situation. The key is to describe events from your own life, things you have experienced or witnessed (pun intended).
