In "Comparison of Psychiatrists' Views on Classification of Mental Disorders in Four East Asian Countries/Area," the authors identify the views of psychiatrists in these four East Asian areas on psychiatric classification (ie. International Classification of Diseases - ICD, and Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder - DSM) were influenced by the factors in mental health service system, psychiatric resources, and historical background. Give one example in each kind of stated factor.

The authors observe that the majority of East Asian psychiatrists expressed some difficulties to apply the system trans-culturally. In your opinion, do you think there should be an universal system that encompass all the classification of the mental disorders? If yes, how could that be realized in feasible terms? For instance, should that be a standard classification system? If not, what should be a better system to address about trans-cultural issues?
