Tara is a very wealthy woman and seeks your advice as to the

validity of the following provisions which she wishes to include in

her will:

$($a$)$It is my wish that $100,000$ be used for the care of my pet

dog, Lumpy, with whatever is left to be used to create a

sanctuary for abandoned dogs.$$

$($b$)500,000$ for the Parker & Mellows Working Men$$s Club $($a

non$-$charitable private members$$ club$)$ to provide library and

leisure facilities for its members.$$

$($c$)$Each of my friends who so wishes may choose any one of the

tapestries hanging in my house at Imber, in the county of

Wiltshire. The remaining tapestries shall be sold and the

proceeds used to say Mass, in my family$$s private chapel on

the Imber Estate, each Wednesday morning for $21$ years, or

until such time as the money shall run out.$$

Advise Tara as to whether these provisions would be valid and,

if not, what changes should be made to ensure their validity.
