(200 words) (AC:1.1) Task 2: Analyse the personal qualities and values your selected health care professional, (nurse or midwife, etc...) will require to work in different health care settings, e.g. A&E maternity ward, community, mental health hospital, etc... You need to include 3-4 qualities/values and explain why they are important in relation to the identified role and how these may vary according to the different settings the health care professional may work in. Make sure you focus on the diverse nature of contemporary practice of the health care practitioner. (250 words) (AC:2.1) Task 3: Care is usually provided by a team of health care professionals and non-professionals. Analyse the main differences between the role of your selected health care professional, (e.g. a nurse or midwife, etc..) with that of another health care professional or a non-professional they may work alongside, like a doctor, pharmacist, paramedic, HCA, etc...Analyse how do their responsibilities for caring for their patients differ between each other's roles. (250 words) (AC:1.2) Task 4: All health care professionals must work within the regulations of their professional body - write an explanation on why and how the professional body regulates the nursing and midwifery practice. Use the regulatory guide and case study provided to explain how the NMC is used to regulate the profession. (400 words) (AC:2.2) Task 5: Evaluate the importance of teamwork and the consequences of poor supervision or team work within the health care team (who would be affected and what might be the outcome for all concerned - you may contextualise your evaluation to a contemporary UK news story) (400 words) (AC:3.1)
