Task 6.1: Select any two of the 17 articles in Research Methodology Case Studies for Engineering and the Built Environment (Download item 2.14). Compare and evaluate the literary sources used by the authors in terms of the criteria listed below. Use these criteria as headings:

How much info that the authors used was available in the public realm (that means, available to everybody, not just to specialist groups)?

Was that info easily accessible (Google, academic platforms, libraries, etc)?

In what form was the info presented (books, articles, dissertations, etc)?

How recent were the publications that the authors cited?

Note that the focus is on the literary sources USED by the authors of the two chosen articles, and NOT on the two articles themselves. Also,

Task 6.2: Following on Task 6.1, (a) explore the availability of literary sources in the fields related to the two articles and (b) comment on the author(s) choice. For example, were their literature surveys the most efficient and relevant possible at their time of writing, or did he/she/they missed one or more seminal publications in the field?
