Check No.553 in the amount of $1,680 had been entered in the cash journal as $1,860 and Check No.679 in the amount of $1,690 had been entered in the cash journal as $1,960. Both checks had been issued to pay for purchases of supplies. 5. The bank had charged the Hazescout Inc.'s account for a customer's uncollectible check amounting to $872 on October 28. 6.
