The Daytona Deacons are a minor league, single A baseball team in Florida. As is common in minor league baseball, the marketing and promotions staff routinely try to implement unique promotional concepts to drive attendance to the games. A reality in minor league baseball is that many fans attend games for the atmosphere and the giveaways, not the baseball.
