The FDA plans to introduce a Carbon Tracing Label which would lay out each products carbon footprint. The label would need extra funding to be implemented and inevitably passed into law by Congress which requires a vote majority. It is planned to track transportation, manufacturing, and general distribution carbon emissions through new their new technology and branch of scientists focused on approving projects carbon rates.

The key to the FDA's implementation strategy is being able to accurately measure results. Once the FDA has put research, time, and engineering into this new tool they will need ways to trace the carbon labels success.
