The first thing that comes to mind when I think of the plot of 'Iron Jawed Angels' is a determined woman fighting for her right to vote. It's based on a true story that was later made into a movie. In 1912, women were treated as caretakers, mothers, and domestic servants, and they are still treated differently than men now. Women have been marginalized in society and treated unequally on physical, mental, and emotional levels, as depictedin this video. Although this film properly representsthesituation of women from the past to the present, it is clear that the struggle for rights of a group of young women has changed the face of empowerment for all women in the modern world
