This chapter explains, in detail, every possible important aspect of responsibilities that come from the engineering profession Engineers must focus on every macro and micro detail in their projects to ensure the best outcome with the project and the cooperation of those that are part of it The example of lack of cooperation is the SUV (early 2000s) incidents with Ford Explore and Bridgestone Firestone tire companies. Both companies didn't want to be hold accountable so blamed each other for the incidents. Ford Explore and Bridgestone Firestone used faulty tire alignments and tire designs which were the cause of the deaths with the SUV accidents Engineering is a trial-and-exror process with backtracking based on feedbacks for engineers to provide the necessary safety and precaution to obtain the best the outcome of their projects. In other words, engineers push through every possible encounter to strengthen their ability of responsibility and morally just. Engineering ethics is broadly used within the engineering profession and is highly recommended to leam them. Engineering ethics is the moral responsibilities and rights used to practice in engineering Engineers use engineering ethics to increase their ability to deal with the complexity of engineering and be able to responsibly carry out their duties Engineering as a profession involves advance expertise, self-regulation, and service to the public good. As a profession, professional engineers would have to think in terms of preventive ethics, meaning preventing moral ham and unnecessary ethical problems
