Filter press. After assembling the press, The data was taken

by noting the time required for the collection of succeeding

$2\mathrm{.}27kg$ batches of filterate.

Area of Filter surface $=0\mathrm{.}174m^2$

Feed conc $=5$ percent caco$3$ in water

Pressure at filter intel ~~$4\mathrm{.}14{10}^{6}Pa$

Determine $$ and $V_e$ for the filteration of this slurry on this

filter press.
