The game console market in Mexico is strong, generating $$190$ million U$.$S$.$ dollars in revenue for the nation with expected annual growth of $0\mathrm{.}18$ percent. By $2028,$ the Mexican gaming console market is expected to reach $500,000$ units $($Statista$,2024).$  Key players in the game console market are Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, all leading their respective segments, and having a history of innovation, brand reputation, and large distribution networks $($Statista$,2024).$  Mexico has increased its game console exports reaching $488$ million in $2022$ representing a $140\%$ increase since $2020($Bianchi$,2023).$ Driving the increased domestic growth in the gaming sector is mobile gaming and the rapid adoption of internet users representing $70\mathrm{.}1\%$ of the population aged six years and older $($MDC$,2021).$  Streaming and e$-$sports are two major factors spurring the growing demand in the nation, and there is an opportunity to strengthen the Mexican network by localizing closer to the end$-$users $($MDC$,2021).$  Connectivity is a concern in the south of Mexico but in the north of the country, the United States is leveraged to provide robust networks to support the gaming growth $($MDC$,2021).$  To leverage the entire opportunity in Mexico, there must be initiatives to provide connectivity to the south of Mexico.
