The Malavsian Carbon Reduction and Environmental Sustainable Tool(MyCRESTis a new sustainable building rating tool which aims to reduce the environmental impact in terms of carbon emissions and environmental implication. One of the objectives is to take into account the performance assessment ofbuilding on a more holistic lifecycle view of the built environment while integrating socio-economic considerations relating to the built environment and urban development. Explain five(5) concepts in building performance for sustainability assessment that suit the said obiective.
