The objective is to discuss organizational behavior and the concept of evidence-based management. Per Robbins and Judge (2017), organizational behavior is defined as the "field of study that investigates the impact that individuals, groups, and structure have on behavior within organizations, for the purpose of applying such knowledge toward improving an organization's effectiveness". In short, the study of OB looks at how people help organizations meet goals as designated by the company's mission and vision statements.
