Research the six selected theories/perspectives you selected in Week 1 within peer-reviewed sources and/or edited texts.

Consider:

• The strengths of the theory/perspective
• The limitations of the theory/perspective
• Any policy implications of the theory/perspective

Write a polished and proofread paper which:

• Describe each of the six theories, making sure to address how each one seeks to explain criminality
• Include illustrative examples, hypothetical or real
• Describe the strengths and limitations of the theory
• Draw and support a conclusion as to the overall value of the theory in present-day America
• For three (3; your choice) of the theories, describe possible or actual public policy implications, hypothetical or real.
