The public service is critical to the lives of every Fijian, providing front line social, health, justice and emergency services and transport and other infrastructure that supports our daily lives. The Fijian public has a right to expect that people working for the public sector perform their duties with integrity, fairly and honestly. If corrupt activities are not identified or are left unchecked, this can lead to a waste of public money and resources, can undermine peoples trust and respect in government, and damage the reputation of the public sector as a whole.

Required: -

1. Research and evaluate a case study of public sector corruption in Fiji and find out level of corruption in public sector, their associated risks and role of FICAC in regards to take actions and respond corruption in Fiji.
2. Elaborate the level of integrity nowadays in public sector services and discuss how bribery and other types of corruption threaten the global market place.
